The model 3040 wireless phone is ideal for moving around the facilities while staying in touch. With its high quality sound, low transmission power, large screen, and secure digital transmission, it provides a superior alternative to using a cellular phone.

When configured as a secondary extension and while placed in its cradle, it is turned off and all calls are directed to the primary extension, which could be an Avanti or an iPicasso. But as soon as it is lifted from the cradle, all incoming calls are directed to the 3040 unit, complete with caller ID forwarding and all other advanced options, in a fully transparent way.

At less than 4.5 oz of weight, the 3040 is easy to carry around. The rechargeable battery provides for 90 hours of operation in stand-by mode, or 20 hours of usage.
