The Telrad emaGEN version 10.3 is a powerful Unified Messaging solution that offers a wide range of integrated capabilities including:

The emaGEN Digital Messaging Platform is designed to exceed the demands of today's fast-paced business environment with the latest in voice technology, combined with the stability of a Linux operating system.

Unified Messaging can be used to access your messages one of two ways, either through a Graphical User Interface (GUI) or a Telephone User Interface (TUI).

The GUI Interface allows the user to receive messages in his email client (Outlook, Groupwise, etc.).

  • Voice mail messages and fax mail messages can merge with email messages and arrive in the email client as new email messages with attachments of the voice mail or fax.
  • The user can process (save, forward, delete) these messages as he would a traditional email message.

The TUI interface is used when the user is away from his PC. He can use a telephone to check all messages.

  • When a user calls the emaGEN Voicemail System to check for voicemail messages, the user is notified of emails and faxes as well.
  • The faxes can be rerouted to another fax number for retrieval, or redirected to an internal user for viewing and comment.
  • Emails can be read to the user using Text-To-Speech technology.
  • When listening to an email message, the message can be redirected to another email address with comments, replied to with a voice attachment, or saved or deleted.
